Best Betting Apps for Football Accumulators (UK)

The best betting app for football accumulators depends on what you want from your acca. William Hill pays the biggest automatic boost, up to 200% extra on 20-fold accas. Betfred is the only big bookmaker that refunds a losing acca in cash rather than a free bet. BoyleSports has the widest set of acca extras. Below, we compare acca boosts, acca insurance, early payouts and cash out across 10 UK betting apps, using each bookmaker’s own terms.

The best accumulator apps in detail

1. William Hill: biggest automatic boost

Every football acca of two or more legs gets extra winnings with no opt-in: 5% on a 4-fold, 10% on a 6-fold, 30% on a 10-fold, 100% on a 15-fold and 200% on 20 or more legs. Each leg must be 1/5 (1.2) or bigger, and only the 90-minute result, 2 Up, Both Teams To Score and over/under goals markets count. Free bets aren’t boosted, and the maximum boost is £10,000. The promotion runs until 30 May 2027.

18+. New customers: bet £10 with code R30 at odds of 1/2+ to get 3 x £10 free bets. Free bets expire after 30 days. T&Cs apply.

2. Betfred: Acca Flex with cash refunds

Betfred’s Acca Flex adds a bonus to 5-fold and bigger accas, from 5% on 5 legs to 50% on 12 legs and 100% on 20 legs, and pays it in cash. If just one leg lets you down, it returns your stake in cash, from 50p up to £10, once a day. Each leg must be 1/2 or bigger. Most rivals refund a losing acca as a free bet, so Betfred’s cash refund is worth more. Cashing out cancels both the bonus and the refund.

18+. New customers: bet £10 to get £50 in free bets (£30 for any sport and £20 for Bet Builder). Debit card deposits only, min odds Evens. Free bets expire after 7 days. T&Cs apply.

3. BoyleSports: the most acca extras

BoyleSports lets you choose a boost (5% on a treble rising to 100% on 20 legs, up to £1,000) or insurance (a free bet of up to £20 if one leg of a 5+ fold acca loses) on each acca. Its Acca Loyalty scheme gives a £5 free acca after every five £5 accas, and football bets are paid out early if your team goes two goals ahead. Each leg must be 1/5 or bigger.

4. Sky Bet: best for cash out

Sky Bet offers full and partial cash out on accumulators, so you can bank some profit and let the rest ride. AccaFreeze lets you freeze a leg on 5+ fold full-time result accas up to three times a week (stakes up to £20). Sky Bet Club gives you a weekly reward when you stake £30 at evens or bigger, and accas count towards it.

5. Ladbrokes: daily acca insurance

Bet a 5+ fold football acca at combined odds of 3/1 or bigger, with each leg 1/10 or bigger, and you get up to £10 back as a free bet if one leg loses. It applies to your first qualifying acca each day. Ladbrokes also has a daily Odds Boost token and 2Up & Win.

Also worth knowing

  • Betfair withdrew its Acca Edge insurance in December 2025. It now offers a 20% Bet Boost on football multiples of 3+ legs, with a maximum stake of £25.
  • BetMGM’s Golden Acca boosts accas of three or more selections, each at 3/10 or bigger, from 3% on a treble up to 200% on a 20-fold.
  • Coral’s Super Acca Insurance covers pre-match football accas of six or more legs on the match result market, with a free bet refund of up to £25.
  • BetVictor refunds your stake as a free bet if one leg of a football acca of five or more legs loses, up to a daily limit.
  • Betway protects 4+ fold accas if the only losing leg is the early Saturday Premier League kick-off, with a maximum stake of £25.
  • Paddy Power and Virgin Bet pay out on accas early when a team goes two goals up, and Paddy Power offers acca insurance only from time to time.
  • Midnite gives a £10 free acca each week when you place two £10 pre-match accas of 4+ legs at 4/1 or bigger.

Acca boost vs acca insurance: which is better?

An acca boost adds a percentage to your winnings when every leg wins. An acca insurance offer refunds your stake, usually as a free bet, when exactly one leg loses. Boosts reward big accas that land. Insurance softens the near-misses, which happen far more often. If you like 5 to 8 fold weekend accas, insurance usually gives better value. If you like long shots with 10 or more legs, a big boost like William Hill’s is worth more.

How to build a football acca on your app

  1. Open the football section and tap the result (or other market) for each match you want. Each selection is added to the bet slip.
  2. Open the bet slip and choose the Accumulator or Multiple option. Check the number of legs shown.
  3. Check the boost or insurance line on the slip. If it isn’t showing, a leg may be below the minimum odds or in a market that doesn’t count.
  4. Enter your stake and place the bet. Use cash, not a free bet, if you want the boost.
  5. Track it in My Bets. Remember that cashing out usually cancels any boost or insurance.

Tips for better accas

  • Check the minimum odds per leg. William Hill and BoyleSports need 1/5, Betfred needs 1/2, and Ladbrokes needs 1/10 per leg but 3/1 overall.
  • Stick to qualifying markets. Most boosts only count the match result and a few goal markets.
  • Don’t add legs just to reach the next boost level. Each extra leg cuts your chance of winning more than the boost adds.
  • Set a weekly deposit limit in the app before the season gets busy.
